Clifton McCallon, 70, a regular at Sammon's Bakery on Chestnut Street in Murray, Ky., generally sits alone at the same table, buys coffee and a bag of doughnut holes and smokes his cigarettes. "I'm not big on change," Clifton said. "I've had the same hairdo since the 1950s. I don't care what other people think. I don't keep up with the Joneses. I do what I want to do."
